Converse is relaunching the Jack Purcell, one of its oldest sneakers originally created in 1935.
The low-profile design, named after a world champion badminton player, was first made for elite competition before becoming a fashion staple.
For the relaunch, Converse rebuilt the silhouette through its First String premium tier with elevated materials and refined construction while keeping the original look.
The white and green edition is scheduled for global release on September 8 via Converse.com.
The model has long served as the base for collaborations with designers and is expected to inspire more in the future.
