The Swedish Higher Education Authority has reviewed social work programs across Sweden and criticized eight institutions, including Dalarna University. The authority highlighted insufficient staffing resources and problems meeting educational goals.
Dalarna University is now examining the shortcomings in detail. Vice rector Jonas Tosteby said measures will be developed to strengthen the quality of the education.
The program will continue during the improvement process. Current students' opportunities to graduate remain unaffected.
