Dead by Daylight sets new Steam concurrent player record

Dead by Daylight reached a new all-time high of 125,820 concurrent players on Steam. The milestone follows Behaviour Interactive's 10th anniversary broadcast and the addition of Jason Voorhees.

The peak occurred about 20 hours before the report on June 17. It marks the highest number of simultaneous Steam users for the 10-year-old asymmetrical horror game.

Behaviour Interactive's recent showcase teased major visual overhauls. The arrival of the Friday the 13th character contributed to the surge in activity.

The game remains available on multiple platforms with cross-play support. Behaviour Interactive continues to expand the title rather than develop a sequel.

A live-action movie adaptation is also in development.
