The Düsseldorf punk band Die Toten Hosen has launched its farewell tour with a concert in Stuttgart. Around 65000 spectators attended the opening on the Cannstatter Wasen.
Die Toten Hosen performed on Saturday before a sold-out crowd. The band played classics such as Tage wie diese, Bonnie & Clyde and Hier kommt Alex as well as newer titles. The audience sang the songs loudly along.
The concert marked the first major stop of the Trink Aus! Wir Müssen Gehen tour in Germany. The band had previously started in Esch an der Alzette, Luxembourg. Support acts like Feine Sahne Fischfilet warmed up the crowd.
Further concerts in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg are scheduled in the coming months. The likely final stadium concert is planned for July 2027 in Düsseldorf.
