Don Toliver releases new single 'Tiramisu'

Rapper Don Toliver has dropped his latest single, 'Tiramisu,' signaling the buildup to his upcoming album expected later this year. The track, produced by Cardo Got Wings, uses a dessert name as a metaphor for intimacy. It arrives amid a year filled with collaborations for the artist.

Release Details

Don Toliver unveiled 'Tiramisu' on August 5 at midnight, marking another step toward his next full-length project. The song features smooth, late-night vibes with lyrics like, "Yeah, call me when you need it late at night, you know I'm slidin' / I heard you been dreamin' 'bout me lately, girl, I'm ridin'." Clocking in as a concise track, it echoes the style of his recent releases such as 'FWU' and 'NO COMMENTS,' the latter included on the July JACKBOYS 2 compilation.

Recent Collaborations

Toliver's 2023 has been dominated by features following the European portion of his 'PYSCHO TOUR' this summer. Notable partnerships include 'Lose My Mind' with Doja Cat, 'YOU' alongside NAV, and 'LV Bag' with j-hope, the latter produced by Pharrell. In a FAULT Magazine interview, Toliver reflected on the j-hope track: "No, ‘LV Bag’ is a record I love, so I didn’t have to stretch my sound in any new direction. It felt natural."

Looking Ahead

The artist expressed enthusiasm for what's next, stating, "The part I’m most excited to reveal is my next album, and really, just my future in general. It’s going to be a fun time, and I’m excited for it all." This follows his 2023 album HARDSTONE PYSCHO, which expanded to 20 tracks in its deluxe edition and featured artists like Yeat, Kodak Black, and Travis Scott. Fans anticipate a shift toward more R&B elements in Toliver's evolving sound.
