The Enforcement Directorate arrested two former Reliance Anil Ambani Group executives on June 12, 2026, in connection with a ₹114.98 crore loan fraud case involving State Bank of India.
Officials said the arrests of Sateesh Seth and Gautam Doshi took place in Mumbai under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Both men previously served as directors of Reliance Telecom Ltd. The ED obtained transit remand and is transporting them to Delhi, where the case is registered.
The Central Bureau of Investigation had booked the two executives and conducted raids on their premises in March. The probe concerns an alleged loan fraud at SBI, which was part of a consortium of 11 banks that sanctioned a total of ₹735 crore in term loans to Reliance Telecom Ltd.
The ED is now examining the roles of Mr. Seth and Mr. Doshi in the bank loan fraud case.
