Minister of State for Military Production Salah Gamblat met with officials from Masar for Consultancy and Business Development and Thales Egypt to discuss expanding cooperation on communications equipment.
The meeting focused on progress in existing projects and plans to manufacture communications equipment components at Benha Electronic Industries Company, also known as Military Factory 144. Officials described Thales Benha as a successful example of Egyptian-French cooperation in military communications.
Salah Gamblat reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to localising advanced technologies and deepening domestic manufacturing. He instructed officials to support stronger industrial partnerships with Thales and to attract investment that serves both parties.
Ahmed El Assar of Masar noted that the partnership marks an important step toward localising technology industries. Sherif Barakat, CEO of Thales Egypt, praised the capabilities of Military Production companies and reaffirmed Thales’s commitment to expanding joint projects.
