Elis Torhall won the men's freestyle at the Parkour World Cup in Istanbul. He scored 31.200 points in the final and secured his seventh World Cup victory. Torhall was back after a concussion that forced him to miss a World Cup event in May. He earned the highest score in qualifying and was celebrated with wild scenes of joy. Miranda Tibbling was heading for victory in the women's speed final but missed the last obstacle on the course. She finished in fifth place and was deeply disappointed right after crossing the finish line.
