Soyee, formerly of the K-pop group Gugudan, revealed on June 19 that she plans to marry her lawyer fiancé this August. The idol-turned-actress shared the news along with wedding photos on her social media account.
In her post Soyee described her fiancé as someone who has made her life more meaningful. She wrote that every moment with him brings her natural comfort and that the couple will support each other as husband and wife.
The announcement included images of Soyee in a white wedding dress beside her fiancé. Former groupmates quickly reacted, with Mimi welcoming the “married woman” and Kang Mina calling the photos “crazy” pretty.
Soyee debuted with Gugudan in 2016. After the group disbanded in 2020 she adopted her real name Jang So Jin and transitioned into acting. Fans have continued to send congratulations since the post appeared.
