Fundación Visión Salud marked its 20th anniversary on May 28, 2026, at Hotel Chicalá in Huila department. The event brought together directors, allies and friends to honor the legacy of founder Weymar Fernando Muñoz.
The organization was founded on May 26, 2006, to advise hospitals and strengthen Colombia’s health sector. The ceremony, which began at 10:00 a.m., featured a four-minute video on Muñoz’s life and a eucharist at 11:10 a.m.
Paola Rocío Muñoz Muñoz, the foundation’s president, said: “Las empresas de este país merecen un camino distinto. Existimos para abrir caminos de dignidad y progreso”. Manager María Cecilia Medina noted that the entity has reached the most difficult places in the country.
Olga Lucía Zuluaga, executive director of ACESI, stated that the main contribution has been to generate hope for vulnerable populations. The event included a tribute to the founder and ended with a dance performance.
