Google has announced its Made by Google event for August 12 in New York City. The evening event at 6 p.m. ET is expected to unveil the Pixel 11 smartphone lineup and Pixel Watch 5.
The company sent invitations to the press confirming the date and time. This marks a shift from previous years, with the reveal happening later in the day.
Leaks published alongside the announcement point to changes in the Pixel 11 series. Reports indicate the base models will start at 256GB storage, up from 128GB, with possible price increases of around $100 in the US.
Additional details from the leaks include new color options such as Light Sterling and Midnight Haze. A feature called Pixel Glow is also mentioned, which would add rear notification lights.
Google is also expected to highlight AI capabilities at the event. The Pixel 11 phones are anticipated to ship with features from earlier Google I/O announcements.
