Google began taking pre-orders on June 17 for its first new smart speaker in six years. The device, priced at $100, is scheduled to go on sale June 25.
The Google Home Speaker features 360-degree audio from a single 58 mm driver. It comes in four colors made from recycled fabric and includes a light ring at the base for visual feedback.
Gemini serves as the primary assistant, enabling more complex commands and contextual conversations. Full access to Gemini Live and other AI features requires a Google Home Premium subscription.
Buyers receive six months of the service with the purchase. The speaker can also pair with a Google TV Streamer for immersive audio or connect with other Nest devices.
Pre-orders are available now ahead of the June 25 release date.
