Hong Kong Disneyland is introducing several new features this year, including an Olaf animatronic meet-and-greet and a Pixar Summer Fest. A new Pixar-themed show and a Marvel land are also in development. These additions aim to enhance visitor experiences at the park.
Starting in May, visitors to Hong Kong Disneyland will be able to meet the popular Olaf animatronic at World of Frozen. The snowman character, known from Disney's Frozen, previously appeared at Disney Adventure World in Paris. Park officials have confirmed this addition as the first of several upcoming changes. Pixar Summer Fest is scheduled to begin on June 12. The event will offer exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with Pixar characters, along with the Pixar Water Play Street Party and a new show called Momentous: Party in the Night Sky, which precedes the nighttime spectacular. Woody and Buzz Lightyear are among the featured characters. Construction has started on a new Pixar-themed show, set to debut next year. Guests will join beloved Pixar characters, including those from Monsters Inc., on an immersive journey blending real and digital worlds. A new Marvel land is also coming to the park, featuring an all-new attraction, immersive entertainment, and exclusive merchandise with Avengers characters like Tony Stark. These developments build on the Castle of Magical Dreams and position Hong Kong Disneyland for increased appeal.
