Indonesian national team player Justin Hubner has affirmed his desire to stay in Europe. He denied transfer rumours to Garudayaksa FC after playing for Fortuna Sittard.
Justin Hubner made his position clear after Fortuna Sittard's pre-season friendly against FC Metz on 25 July 2026. He said, "I am good here" and "I prefer to stay in Europe at the moment."
The comments came amid speculation that Garudayaksa FC had made a big offer. Hubner remains focused on the 2026/2027 season with the Dutch Eredivisie club.
Hubner also did not join the Indonesian national team at the AFF Cup 2026 as Fortuna Sittard refused to release him. PSSI chairman Erick Thohir noted that calling up European-based players is not easy.
