Lionsgate is adding its film library to the Movies Anywhere service, allowing purchased titles to sync across participating digital retailers. The move begins in June with 225 high-profile films and continues with roughly 100 more added each month.
Lionsgate titles will soon appear in the central digital locker service owned by The Walt Disney Company. Users who buy or redeem codes for films such as John Wick, Knives Out, La La Land, Rambo and The Hunger Games will be able to access them on linked platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Google Play and YouTube.
