LKA has unveiled initial gameplay footage for its upcoming psychological horror title When Sirens Fall Silent during the Day of the Devs showcase. The game follows a rookie police officer investigating a serial killer in 1990s Italy and is set for release on PC in 2027.
The studio, known for The Town of Light and Martha Is Dead, described the story as centering on officer Mila and her probe into a killer called The Man. Players will examine crime scenes, question suspects, and navigate a narrative that explores themes including misogyny, trafficking, and trauma. Gameplay features environmental puzzles alongside a branching storyline with multiple endings. The setting draws from real locations in Italy, and the soundtrack mixes 1990s Italian electronic music, Mediterranean folk, opera, and experimental elements composed by Femina Ridens.
