Logitech has launched the Mobi Fold, an $80 Bluetooth mouse that folds in half for easy portability. The device went on sale on June 10 with features aimed at travelers who prefer a mouse over a laptop trackpad.
The Mobi Fold uses a silicone-wrapped hinge that pivots about 130 degrees and allows the mouse to fold into a compact shape measuring 4.83 cubic inches. It weighs 2.8 ounces and includes an auto-power feature that turns the device on when unfolded and off when folded. Logitech states the mouse reduces muscle strain by 22 percent compared with a trackpad. It features a 4,000-dots-per-inch sensor, quiet clicks, and a touch panel for scrolling with two programmable buttons. The battery lasts up to 30 days on a full charge and is replaceable. The mouse supports Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, and iPadOS, and it can connect to three devices via Bluetooth. It is the first Logitech input device with Fast Pair certification for Google users. Four colors are available, and buyers at launch receive a free protective pouch.
