The Chilean band Los Tres surprised passengers at Baquedano station on the Santiago Metro on Tuesday, June 23, with a seven-song minishow. The group also announced a large-format concert on November 14 at the Movistar Arena to mark 30 years since their MTV Unplugged.
Musicians Álvaro Henríquez, Titae Lindl, Ángel Parra and Pancho Molina appeared on the concourse of Baquedano station on Line 1. They performed songs including Gato x Liebre, La Torre de Babel, Hojas de Té, Un Amor Violento, He Barrido el Sol, Quién es la que viene allí and INRI to applause from the crowd.
The event served to announce the concert scheduled for November 14 at the Movistar Arena. The show will be inspired by the historic MTV Unplugged session recorded on September 14, 1995, in Miami, which included the new song Traje Desastre and a cuecas section.
General ticket sales will begin on Thursday, June 25, at 10:00 hours through PuntoTicket. Early buyers will receive a 20 percent discount with any payment method for 24 hours or until stock runs out.
