Melanie C releases Guz remix of Sweat

Melanie C has unveiled a deep house remix of her single Sweat by producer Guz. The rework transforms the electro-house track into a club-focused anthem. It highlights the song's themes of movement and energy.

Melanie C's forthcoming ninth studio album, titled Sweat and set for release on May 1, 2026, features the lead single Sweat, which has already garnered 2.5 million global streams. The original track samples Diana Ross's Work That Body and evokes vintage fitness-video vibes, celebrating movement, freedom, and collective joy.

Now, acclaimed producer Guz has delivered a hypnotic deep house remix that reworks the electro-house original into a driving, club-ready track. It incorporates Guz's signature groove with heavyweight basslines, sharp percussion, and a stripped-back intensity, blending underground house culture with peak-time festival energy. This version casts the workout-rave crossover in a darker, more hypnotic light, ideal for DJ sets and late-night dance floors.

Melanie C shared her enthusiasm: "I've loved watching 'Sweat' take on a life of its own. This remix amplifies everything the song stands for - movement, confidence and collective energy - and hearing it in a club context is incredibly exciting."

The remix debuts as the first track on Melanie C's Music That Moves Me playlist, available exclusively on Apple Music as part of their January fitness activation. This release underscores Sweat's growing popularity and versatility across music scenes.
