Meta has added a Starter Edition of Xbox Game Pass to its Horizon+ subscription for Quest headsets. The bundle provides access to more than 50 games with 10 hours of cloud gaming each month.
Subscribers can stream titles such as Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Grounded, Overcooked 2, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic and SnowRunner on their headsets. The games support cloud saves across PC, Xbox consoles and other devices, along with online multiplayer on cloud and PC.
Users can also download games to play on PC or Xbox as much as they like. An Xbox-themed immersive space is available for streaming, and players can select from multiple virtual display sizes, including one extending to 26 feet.
In the coming weeks Meta Quest Touch controllers will gain the ability to emulate an Xbox gamepad. The update builds on earlier collaborations between Meta and Microsoft, including an Xbox-themed Quest 3S headset and a dedicated cloud gaming app.
