FROM renewed for fifth and final season on MGM+

MGM+ has renewed its sci-fi horror series FROM for a fifth and final season, announced just days before season 4's premiere. As previously detailed, season 4 debuts April 19 at 9/8c, and production on the concluding season begins later in 2026.

Following the February announcement of season 4's April 19 premiere—which teases escalating terrors for the trapped residents and Boyd's (Harold Perrineau) leadership challenges—MGM+ revealed on April 15 that FROM will return for one final season.

The renewal allows creators to wrap up the narrative of the mysterious town where no one can escape nightly creature threats. Executive producers John Griffin, Jeff Pinker, and Jack Bender stated: "We are wildly excited to announce that we've officially begun work on Season 5. Which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion. Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between. We are thankful for the support of our friends and partners at MGM+. And we are grateful beyond measure for the mad passion of our entire FROMily. We're excited to share Season 4 with you and hope it whets your appetite for what's to come."

Season 5 production starts later in 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, targeting a 2027 debut. THR first reported the news. The series, which premiered in 2022, has cultivated a devoted fanbase known as the FROMily.
