Milli Vanilli announced they will not perform at the upcoming Freedom 250 event in Washington, D.C. Several other artists have also distanced themselves from the festival. The 16-day event is scheduled for June 25 to July 10 at the National Mall.
Milli Vanilli stated on May 28 that the group has no association with the Freedom 250 concert. The act specified that any use of the name in advertisements refers to a tribute band. Original vocalists including Jodie Rocco and others confirmed they will not perform live at the Great American State Fair on June 26.
