Muse have shared details of ambitious stage production for their winter arena dates across the UK and Europe. Frontman Matt Bellamy said the band is trying to build a spaceship and introduce new laser effects.
The Devon trio released their tenth album, The Wow! Signal, on June 26. They will begin a North American headline tour on July 2 at Summerfest in Milwaukee before returning for UK shows in November.
Bellamy told NME the spaceship idea came with a high cost quote. He added that the band is also exploring original laser work and that the production will stay within a space and sci-fi theme.
The North American dates will use a more stripped-back setup suited to amphitheatres. Bellamy confirmed the UK and European arena run will feature an entirely new production.
