The Netherlands will meet Morocco in a round of 32 match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Monterrey on Tuesday.
Ronald Koeman said his side must prepare carefully for the encounter.
“I’m not sure if we are the favourite in the match against Morocco,” he told reporters. “We need to prepare for Morocco, because it’ll be a big game. It’s a good team with a lot of quality, and they can score easily.”
The Dutch are expected to line up with Verbruggen in goal, a back four including Dumfries and Van Dijk, and forwards Malen, Brobbey and Gakpo. Morocco are set to field Bono, Hakimi, Mazraoui and Saibari.
The match kicks off at 2am UK time and will be shown live on ITV and STV.
