The K-pop group NewJeans released four short videos on its YouTube channel on July 21 marking the fourth anniversary of its debut. The clips feature the four remaining members and carry the phrase “the summer of NewJeans.” ADOR said further activity plans will be announced once discussions are complete.
The videos show Hyein, Haerin, Hanni and Minji in everyday settings such as roller skating and relaxing in a park. They mark the first public activity from the group since it entered a hiatus in 2025.
NewJeans debuted in 2022 under ADOR, a HYBE label, and achieved rapid success with tracks including “Attention,” “Hype Boy” and “Super Shy.” The group later became embroiled in a prolonged dispute with HYBE that led to the departure of former CEO Min-Hee Jin and a failed rebrand attempt as NJZ.
In late 2025 the four members agreed to honor a court ruling requiring them to remain with ADOR until 2029. Fifth member Danielle left the label that year. ADOR is now preparing to outline the group’s next steps.
