Paranoá bet wins Mega-Sena quina and claims R$ 50,000 prize

A bettor from the Federal District won R$ 50,276.06 alone by hitting five numbers in Mega-Sena's draw 2941, held on Tuesday evening (November 18). No one matched all six numbers, and the main prize rolled over to R$ 10 million for the next draw. The bet was placed at Loteria da Praça in Paranoá.

The Caixa Econômica Federal held the draw for Mega-Sena contest 2941 on Tuesday evening, November 18, at 9 p.m., at the Espaço da Sorte on Avenida Paulista in São Paulo. The drawn numbers were 14, 30, 33, 35, 48, and 51. While no one matched all six numbers, a simple bet placed at Loteria da Praça in Paranoá (DF) hit the quina and won R$ 50,276.06.

This was the only bet to claim the quina prize, according to the Metrópoles website. The bettor from the Federal District chose a simple game, with a minimum value of R$ 6, selecting six numbers from 1 to 60. The odds of hitting all six numbers on a simple bet are 1 in 50,063,860, per Caixa.

With the rollover, the next Mega-Sena draw is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, with an estimated prize of R$ 10 million. Simple bets can be made until 8 p.m. at lottery outlets, on the Loterias Online portal, or via the official Caixa app. Digital pools are allowed until 8:30 p.m., online only.

The results were announced right after the draw, highlighting the luck of the Paranoá resident among thousands of bets placed across the country.
