Payment schedule for Mexico's welfare pension in November 2025

Mexico's Welfare Secretariat announced the payment schedule for the Bienestar Pension in November 2025, benefiting nearly 13 million people with bimonthly 6,200 pesos. Deposits will occur from November 3 to 27 based on the first letter of the surname, also covering programs like the Women's Bienestar Pension. Distribution pauses on November 17 for the Mexican Revolution holiday.

The Bienestar Pension for Older Adults, established under former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador as a constitutional right, provides 6,200 pesos bimonthly to people over 65. This support reaches more than 13 million beneficiaries, per Welfare Secretariat data. Ariadna Montiel, the Welfare Secretary, announced on November 3, 2025, the schedule for the year's final bimonthly period, which also applies to the Women's Bienestar Pension (3,000 pesos for women aged 60 to 65), disability pension, working mothers' support, and Sembrando Vida program.

Deposits start on Monday, November 3, organized by the first letter of the surname:

Bank operations halt on November 17 for the Mexican Revolution anniversary. For the Women's Bienestar Pension, women registered in August will receive cards until November 10, notified by text message. Required: official ID, purple registration stub, and a photo taken at the appointment.

In 2025, the amount rose 4% (200 pesos) based on inflation. For 2026, the increase will be set in December or January, with 526 billion pesos budgeted for the program.
