Guardiola's time at the club delivered 20 major trophies. The final match ended with goals from Antoine Semenyo for City and a brace by Ollie Watkins for Villa. At the final whistle the departing manager joined Bernardo Silva and John Stones for an on-pitch farewell ceremony.
