Pertamina raised prices of non-subsidized fuels Pertamax and Pertamax Green starting June 10, 2026. The adjustment aligns with market prices and the rupiah exchange rate.
Pertamax prices increased from Rp12,300 to Rp16,250 per liter. Pertamax Green 95 also rose from Rp12,900 to Rp17,000 per liter.
Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said the pricing was calculated wisely by Pertamina. He confirmed subsidized fuels such as Pertalite remain at Rp10,000 per liter with no changes.
Unpad observer Bonti Wiradinata assessed the hike aims to protect the rupiah value and ease APBN pressure. YLKI Executive Secretary Rio Priambodo requested improved service quality at gas stations alongside the price rise.
Some users in Semarang switched to Pertalite to reduce spending. Pertamina ensured non-subsidized fuel supplies remain secure across all stations.
