The Commonwealth Foundation has cleared three writers accused of using AI in their prize-winning short stories. An investigation concluded that no AI tools were involved in the works.

Jamir Nazir has won the Commonwealth Short Story Prize for his entry "The Serpent in the Grove." He was one of three finalists previously accused of using Artificial Intelligence in their work.
