The Psychedelic Furs have cancelled their upcoming North American tours because of a serious medical issue in the band. The London post-punk group made the announcement on Friday, May 8, and apologized to fans for the change in plans.
The influential band had scheduled an extensive summer tour across North America, with Living Colour and We Are Scientists set as support acts for different legs of the shows. In their statement, the group said the dates for spring and summer would no longer take place due to the undisclosed medical problem affecting the band members.
