Uncut sheets of rare Yu-Gi-Oh cards have appeared on online marketplaces after a seller claimed to discover them in a Texas dumpster. Collectors have speculated on their value while questioning the origins of the find.
Last March, uncut sheets of Yu-Gi-Oh cards began appearing on sites including eBay and Facebook. The seller's inconsistent responses and erratic behavior prompted concerns among buyers about how the items were obtained. Journalist Matthew Gault of 404 Media contacted the seller and an initial buyer known as Nick, who purchased one sheet featuring Blue Eyes Silver Dragon for $1,000. Nick initially assumed the acquisition was legitimate, possibly from a tournament win.
