Riley Green's new single debuts on country charts

Riley Green's latest track "Think As You Drunk" has entered the Billboard charts following its release to country radio on May 27. The song draws inspiration from Toby Keith and includes a sample from his 2005 hit "As Good as I Once Was."

The single, issued by Nashville Harbor, debuts at No. 24 on the Hot Country Songs chart dated June 13. It also ranks at No. 29 on the Country Airplay list.

Green wrote the song with Erik Dylan, Jessi Alexander and Wyatt McCubbin. Work began in October 2024 when Green and Dylan sketched ideas after a Chicago concert. The track was completed in February 2025 during a session at 50 Egg Music in Nashville.

Producer Dann Huff recorded the final version in October at Sound Stage studio. Keith's estate approved the use of his vocal sample after Green reached out to manager T.K. Kimbrell. A portion of proceeds will support Keith's foundation.

Green said the label supported the song early. "My record label lost their mind over the song, even before Toby was a part of it," he noted.
