Rögle signs Calle Clang to two-year contract

Rögle BK has confirmed the signing of 24-year-old goaltender Calle Clang from the AHL on a two-year deal.

Calle Clang returns to the club where he progressed from youth ranks to the SHL. He left Ängelholm after the 2022/23 season and spent three years in North America with the San Diego Gulls, appearing in 104 AHL games without an NHL debut.

The club announced that Clang will join Arvid Holm in goal for the coming season. Sportchef Hampus Sjöström said in a statement that Clang is "Rögle BK ut i fingerspetsarna" and described him as an athletic and dedicated goalkeeper.

Clang has already played more than 40 SHL games for Rögle and represented Sweden at the World Junior Championships in 2021 and 2022.
