Actor Sergio Mayer announced he will process his INAPAM credential after turning 60 on May 21. He said he wants to access discounts available to older adults.
Sergio Mayer, former member of La Casa de los Famosos, turned 60 on May 21. In statements to media, the actor said he can now obtain the credential from the Instituto Nacional de las Personas Adultas Mayores.
“The INAPAM one I can already get, we are going to process it, to have discounts,” Mayer said. He added jokingly that he is now an older adult and asked to be treated with more respect.
The credential allows discounts on transport, medical services and museum entry, according to the Mexican government. Mayer did not rule out applying for the Tarjeta del Bienestar when he turns 65.
