Actress Solange Couto, eliminated from BBB 26 with high rejection, shared a video on social media on Tuesday (21) lamenting the death of Ana Paula Renault's father, which occurred on Sunday (19). She explained health problems prevented her from posting earlier and expressed a desire to hug her in person. The reality show's final, with a R$ 5.44 million prize contested by Ana Paula, Juliano Floss, and Milena, takes place tonight.
Solange Couto used her Instagram stories to express condolences to Ana Paula Renault and her family for the loss of Gerardo Renault. "I didn't post anything before because I haven't been well health-wise. I was still at the hospital until one in the morning yesterday," the actress said in the video.
She related to the pain from her own experience: "I do measure the pain she's feeling, because I lost my father 20 years ago and still feel the pain." Despite disagreements during the BBB 26 confinement, Couto emphasized humanity: "Game was game, words were words, attitudes... Anyway. But humanity is humanity."
The former participant, not seen among the eliminated gathered at a hotel in Rio de Janeiro, may miss Tuesday's (21) final. Rede Globo has not confirmed the presence of ex-BBBs at the program's closing.
