Starz has unveiled the initial footage from its upcoming Power prequel series. The teaser introduces young versions of key characters Ghost and Tommy.
The network shared the clip on Thursday from Power Origins, which explores the early lives of James Ghost St. Patrick, Tommy Egan, and Kanan Stark. Spence Moore portrays Ghost, while Charlie Mann takes on Tommy and MeKai Curtis returns as Kanan.
The official logline describes the show as an action-packed origin story of ambitious young entrepreneurs rising on the streets of New York City. Courtney A. Kemp and Sascha Penn created the series, with Penn serving as showrunner.
Production is underway in New Jersey. The finale of Power Book III Raising Kanan is set to stream on August 7 and will lead into the new spinoff.
