Studio MDHR revealed plans for two new Cuphead games during the Summer Game Fest showcase on June 5.
The first project is a new hand-animated Cuphead game. It will feature the series characters in a fresh adventure. Development remains in early stages with no release window announced. The second title, Mighty Cuphead Adventure, is an 8-bit action platformer. It was programmed in classic Assembly Language for the Sega Master System. The game will release on modern consoles and PC with an optional physical cartridge for original hardware. Studio MDHR said more details will arrive in the coming months. The original Cuphead launched in 2017 with its DLC expansion The Delicious Last Course arriving in 2022.
