Taylor Momsen discussed the release of The Pretty Reckless' fifth album Dear God in an interview. The record came out on June 26 and explores themes of grief and personal growth.
The album arrived as a follow-up to the band's 2021 release Death by Rock and Roll. Momsen described it as vulnerable and aggressive while drawing from her experiences with loss.
She noted that songwriting served as a form of therapy during difficult times. The record includes tracks like Love Me that address personal struggles directly.
The Pretty Reckless will begin a US tour on July 10. Additional dates in the UK and Europe are planned for November and December.
