Two people have been found dead in a villa in a village in Eslöv municipality. Police suspect murder due to the circumstances.
Police were alerted shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday to the residence. Neighbors had called in and the area was cordoned off for forensic examination.
No person has been detained or is suspected in the case. Police state that relatives have been notified and that there is no danger to the public.
– There are circumstances that make us strongly suspect that it is murder, says Leif Fransson, police press spokesperson. Door-to-door inquiries are ongoing and technicians are working in the villa.
Police have opened a preliminary investigation into murder but do not wish to provide further details at this time.
