Blizzard will introduce an account-wide autoloot setting in the upcoming Curse of Ula’tek patch for World of Warcraft. The change addresses a long-standing player complaint that has persisted since the game’s launch. The patch is scheduled to release in less than a week.
Players have manually enabled the autoloot option for each new character created over the past 22 years. The setting currently requires individual toggling in the menu for every character despite its convenience for gathering loot from enemies.
The Curse of Ula’tek patch will also add a new zone called Coiled Isle, an eight-boss raid, new world bosses, new delves, quests and a new dungeon season. It continues storylines involving Amani trolls established in the Midnight expansion.
Blizzard confirmed the autoloot adjustment will apply across all characters once set. This update eliminates the need to repeat the configuration process for future characters.
