Fantasy adaptation

Production has officially started on Nintendo's live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, with filming underway in Wellington, New Zealand. The project, set for a 2027 release, follows young warrior Link as he protects Hyrule from the forces of darkness led by Ganon. Casting includes Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda.
