Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has urged calm after bandits attacked the National Park Office in Oloka Village, killing five forest guards. The incident happened earlier on January 7, 2026, in Oriire Local Government Area. Makinde assured residents that security has been restored and measures are in place to prevent recurrences.
