Chennai Super Kings have started their pre-season preparations for IPL 2026 at the team's High Performance Centre in Navalur. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and MS Dhoni joined the camp on March 1, alongside other Indian players, amid delays in the tournament schedule and travel disruptions from Middle East tensions.
Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed his maiden ODI century off 77 balls in Raipur, but India lost by four wickets despite posting 358/5 against South Africa. The knock intensified competition for the No. 4 spot, pressuring Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer. The series is now level at 1-1.
