Sucker Punch Productions is releasing a free patch for Ghost of Yōtei on November 24, introducing New Game Plus mode along with new cosmetics, difficulty options, and Photo Mode enhancements. The update allows players to replay the story with all earned gear and skills after completing the main campaign. Additional features include replayable post-game content and improved accessibility.
Sucker Punch Productions used physical coins from Ghost of Yotei’s Collector’s Edition to test rules for the PvP coin-flicking game Zeni Hajiki in the title’s new free multiplayer mode. Senior staff designer Darren Bridges explained the efficient prototyping process to Kotaku. The studio added the Legends co-op mode to fill downtime between missions.

Sucker Punch is adding a free multiplayer mode called Ghost of Yotei Legends to its PS5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei, set to launch on March 10. The update includes the popular Zeni Hajiki coin-flicking mini-game for play with friends in a new lobby area. It also features returning elements like bamboo strikes with leaderboards.
