National Police have arrested 24 members of Real Zaragoza's ultra group Ligallo Fondo Norte for offenses linked to fights and harassment of club officials and players.
The arrests took place in recent weeks, with 20 carried out last weekend in Zaragoza. Eighteen of them are linked to clashes on April 26 in Huesca during the derby against SD Huesca, where a group of ultras broke through a security cordon and took part in a brawl involving stones and bottles. Other actions include a fight on May 9 in Valladolid before the match against Real Valladolid, which left two officers injured, and an ambush on April 18 on the A-2 highway against the team bus. Among those detained is one minor and ten people with no prior records. Police have charged the group leader with ordering violent actions, although he was not detained. The files will be sent to the Antiviolencia Commission for possible fines and stadium bans. The investigation remains open.
