Acer Mobile Latam has introduced the Sospiro A15, a low-cost smartphone featuring a full-color rear display. The device is scheduled to reach Latin American markets this summer at an expected price between $150 and $250.
The rear of the phone includes a 1.88-inch TFT screen with 284×240 resolution for notifications, music controls, and selfies. It pairs with dual 64-megapixel cameras on a design that echoes higher-end models.
The main 6.67-inch IPS display offers 1,600×720 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Other specifications include a 5,000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage expandable via SD card, and a Unisoc T615 processor.
Additional features comprise a side-mounted fingerprint reader, face unlock, NFC support for Google Wallet, and an IP64 splash-resistance rating. The handset is manufactured by Senwa Global International under license and will not be available in the United States.
