The Amhara Region generated 726.7 million dollars in revenue from exports of pulses, oilseeds, and coffee during the 2018 budget year.
The Amhara Region's Trade and Market Development Bureau reported earnings of 726.7 million dollars from exports of pulses, oilseeds, and coffee in the completed 2018 budget year.
Director Ato Lingerew Habesha stated that focus was placed on securing foreign exchange from various products. Over 5.4 million quintals were supplied abroad, including masho, soya beans, boloke, sesame, niger seed, and coffee.
These goods entered the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange properly and on time before being exported to generate the revenue.
