Designer Anna October presented her Resort 2027 collection titled Cafe Pleasure in a nod to her recent move to Paris.
The Ukrainian-French designer, who continues to split time between Ukraine and France, drew inspiration from the sinuous lines of Hector Guimard's Paris Métro designs. Leaf-shaped lace inserts and a jacquard pattern featuring poppies appeared throughout the lineup.
Two sky-blue looks stood out as signature pieces: a bra-topped satin slip and a fringed frock paired with a poncho. The collection emphasized separates including shirts, curvy suits and pleated pants alongside the designer's known evening gowns.
A snakeskin bustier and pants set was highlighted as one of the strongest looks. October stated that her vision stems from everyday surroundings and defended the new pieces by noting attention to color, fabric and details.
The theme centered on cafes open at any hour, though the designer was advised to focus more on her signature dreamy dresses.
