Anthropic has added new connectors for its Claude AI chatbot, enabling links to everyday services like Spotify, Instacart and AllTrails. The expansion shifts focus from professional tools to personal tasks. More integrations are planned for the future.
Anthropic announced on Thursday that Claude can now connect to accounts on AllTrails, Audible, Booking.com, Instacart, Intuit Credit Karma, Intuit TurboTax, Resy, Spotify, StubHub, Taskrabbit, Thumbtack, TripAdvisor, Uber, Uber Eats and Viator. These additions bring the total number of connectors to more than 200 since the directory launched in July 2025, according to Anthropic's blog post as reported by CNET. The company aims to make Claude more useful for complex, personal tasks, such as planning a hike on AllTrails and creating a matching Spotify playlist. Anthropic has also updated how connectors appear in conversations. Apps now suggest themselves dynamically based on the context, eliminating the need to switch programs. Claude always asks for user confirmation before actions like reservations or purchases, and data from connectors is not used to train models. Other AI chatbots like Gemini and ChatGPT offer similar integrations with external apps. Anthropic emphasized that its ad-free approach ensures relevant suggestions without commercial bias.
